The House's impeachment case against Trump does focus heavily on the former president's decision to repeatedly and falsely claim the 2020 election was "stolen" from him, but that isn't the sole basis of their contention that he incited an insurrection on Jan. Paul, who has been a vocal critic of both Trump's impeachments, falsely claimed in December that the presidential election "in many ways was stolen."
